Our Bioflore hydrosols are 100% pure, preservative-free and of food-grade quality. They can be used both internally and externally, for skin and hair care.

Concentration: all our hydrosols are grade 1, i.e. 1 kilo of plants are distilled for 1 litre of water, which ensures a quality hydrosol, rich in active ingredients and with an intense fragrance.

This fresh, aromatic tarragon hydrosol comes from France, where it is organically grown and distilled on site.

Tarragon was nicknamed ‘little dragon’ or ‘serpentine’ because the plant was reputed to cure snakebites in the time of Dioscorides, a Greek physician and botanist born around 40 AD.

Produced by steam distillation of fresh tarragon leaves, organic tarragon hydrosol is renowned for:

Natural health

• Relieving digestive disorders, stomach spasms and cramps
• Relieving aerophagia, gas, bloating and hiccups
• Relieving symptoms of seasonal allergies (hay fever)

Natural beauty

Used as a facial tonic, applied with a washable cotton pad, as a compress or sprayed on the skin, tarragon hydrosol:

• Soothes itching and skin irritations
• Calms allergic skin
• Reduces redness

Cooking

• Tarragon hydrosol can also be used in cooking to flavour dishes (white sauces, tomato sauces, raw vegetables, preserves, etc.).

• 1 to 2 tablespoons in 1 litre of water, to be drunk throughout the day, as a course of treatment, for 10 to 21 days.
• 1 teaspoon in a glass of water after a meal to relieve difficult digestion.
• 1 teaspoon per 500ml of sauce or preparation when used in cooking to flavour a dish.

• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use internally for more than one month
• Not recommended as an internal treatment for pregnant or breast-feeding women
• Internal use in the form of cures not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

The 200 ml bottles combine lightness with optimal protection: an aluminium outer shell and an inner layer made from food-grade, bisphenol A-free resin, providing an effective UV barrier and good thermal insulation. This choice also helps to reduce the carbon footprint thanks to the lightweight packaging.

We also organise the recycling of the aluminium: the bottles can be returned to Bioflore in Wavre or to L’Herboristerie de Louise in Brussels, to be sent to a company that recycles and reuses the material.

If you’d like to use this hydrosol as a mist, a spray nozzle is available for purchase: simply screw it onto your bottle and reuse it on your future bottles. An economical and eco-friendly solution that helps reduce waste.

As they contain no preservatives, we recommend storing our hydrosols in the fridge to best preserve their quality and avoid exposure to temperature fluctuations.

Once opened, we recommend using them within 3 months.
